Do the dwellings need separate electricity meters?
Not necessarily. A dual occupancy may have one electricity service to the lease or separate services to each dwelling. Separate metering/services can be provided where required.
Not necessarily. A dual occupancy does not automatically require each dwelling to have a completely separate electricity service.
Evoenergy allows a dual occupancy to be supplied either through a single service to the lease or separate services to each dwelling on the same lease.
If separate electricity services are required for the two dwellings, separate metering can be arranged, but the owner is responsible for the cost of the additional service and any necessary network modifications.
